‘I Know You Care’ is the latest track from impressive newcomer SOMOH. It’s a cathartic, mellow track that places a raw, isolated acoustic guitar part beneath her airy lead vocal. There’s something Billie Eilish-esque about her subtly acrobatic delivery and interesting melodic choices, as well as those heavenly textural builds. She explains that “his song is about how people’s intentions don’t always reflect well in how they act towards you. I tend to just walk away from situations that hurt me, without holding the person accountable because I’m not the best at confrontation.” Her debut EP, A Plan To Get Home, is due for release in early 2023 and promises to be something pretty special. -Dan Peeke.
